Joseph is certified in Applied Behavior Analysis and holds a Master’s in Special Education. He specializes in behavior consultation, classroom management, and conflict resolution, and is a certified crisis prevention intervention instructor, as well as being certified in strategies for crisis intervention and prevention. Joseph also presents to local Special Education Parent Teacher Associations, as well as at staff development events for Long Island school districts, universities and conferences on research in the behavior analysis field, and parent and paraprofessional-oriented topics.
Joseph oversees all school district related cases for the Family Center for Autism. He ensures the quality of the services, as well as family satisfaction. Joseph provides a level of clinical and administrative oversight that bridges the gap between families, schools and the community.
He also is a member of the Long Island Association for Special Education Administrators and New York State Association for Applied Behavior Analysis.
